Valencia (yellow) hit by injuries ahead of Victory clash

Male', MALDIVES - Valencia coach (Binma) Abdullah Waheed states Victory is in top form in Dhiraagu Dhivehi league and it will be difficult to overcome such a side in their second round clash that will be played today. He also highlighted the performance of their three foreign players.

“It would be a difficult game for us against Victory tomorrow (today)” he said.

“They are in top form in this league and their foreign players are performing very well”

But Binma suggests if Valencia played more like a team they have a chance of winning today’s game.

Valencia had a shocking defeat against Vyansa in their last game where they took the lead in the 13th minute from Felix’s penalty, but Vyansa fought back hard to stun Valencia by 3-1.

After Vyansa game, Binma said they lack the quality finishing from their striking force and said he will concentrate more on that during the practices.

Valencia is also severely hit by injury crisis ahead of today’s game.

“Felix suffered a groin injury in our last game, he will play tomorrow’s (today) game without full fitness”

“James and Jameel are also not fit” He added.

Jameel suffered a knee injury in their last game and defender Jamsheed had a shoulder injury in the same game.

The round one clash between Victory and Valencia ended as a 1-1 draw.
